International Divorce Lawyers: a new website with information for expats in divorce proceedings

On the new website, https://international-divorce-lawyers.com/contact/, family law attorney Martine Wernsen, from the Hague, the Netherlands, attempts to make the divorce/separation process for expats a little simpler.

The website is to be updated with information on different jurisdictions concerning the rules governing the divorce/separation process in each country, with a focus on both the regulation of parent-child relationships and the property disputes that arise.

This project is useful both for professionals dealing with the relevant issues (lawyers, mediators, etc.) and for spouses/partners who, when in a country other than their country of origin, are “blindsided” by the issues arising from the breakdown of their relationship.

It is a pleasure to contribute as a “country reporter” for Greece.
