I am a member of the Athens Bar Association and I am practicing as a lawyer at court.
As an attorney I have handled a wide range of civil and criminal law cases and specialize in family disputes, including domestic violence cases, cross-border disputes (e.g. child abduction between parents) and cases of same-sex couples, while I also practice criminal law.
I am a pro bono member of the legal team of NELFA (Network of European LGBTIQ* Families Associations) advocating for the recognition of rainbow families in EU countries, which had a decisive role in the marriage equality bill in Greece. I also aim provide services as a legal counsel to “Proud Parents Greece”, which aims through its action to support and empower parents with LGBTIQ* children.
Finally, I am an associate of the carefulchildrelocation.com network, where I contribute as a country reporter for Greece on international relocation and child abduction issues, as well as of the charity, UK based, organization GlobalARRK working internationally to support families who are unable to return to their home country with their children after a relationship breakdown abroad.
I am a graduate of the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athensand I hold a Master’s degree in Private International Law and International Transactions Law from the same University. I am a former member of “Yiannatsis and Associates” law firm and since May 2023 I have been practicing as a freelancer, utilizing a network of associates, consisting of fellow lawyers, psychologists, translators, forensic experts, etc.
I speak English, French, German and Italian.
I handle each case personally and with empathy for both the opposing parties and any minors involved, emphasizing the amicable resolution of the dispute even when it is brought before the court.
