May 2023- Decision No 257/2023 of the Syros Trial Court – Acquittal of the defendant for the offence of occupation of beach and seashore

By its decision no 257/2023 the Syros Three-Member Misdimeanours Court acquitted the defendant, my client, of the charge of illegal occupation of a beach and seashore. The defendant had been found criminally liable after an inspection by the Coast Guard, which found that her catering business, which was operating in an area similar to a land area of the port, by placing tables and deckchairs, was in breach of the provisions of the relevant permits.
