January 2023 – Decision No 25/2023 of the Kavala Court of First Instance (Special Family Disputes Procedure) – Award of exclusive custody of the three minor children to the father and dissolution of the marriage due to the exercise of domestic violence by the mother against the children
By its final decision No 25/2023, the Kavala Court of First Instance, after a procedural ‘thriller’ of temporary orders and temporary measures court decisions, which resulted in the separation of the three minor children of the parties, decided on the one hand to reunite them and on the other hand to exclude the mother from their custody. The court held that the mother had been systematically violent towards the children and that no allegation of parental alienation could justify her conduct, awarding exclusive custody of all three children to their father and declaring the marriage dissolved for the same reason through the sole fault of the mother-wife.
